Stakeholder Forum on the Implementation of the AfCFTA
The National AfCFTA Coordination Office convened a two (2) day forum for key public sector Departments and Agencies and private sector partners who have important roles to play in the successful implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Agreement in Ghana.
The forum sought to enable all stakeholders gain a better understanding of each other’s functions and develop a framework for collaboration to ensure that Ghanaian businesses participating in AfCFTA are positioned to harness the benefits of the Free Trade Area.
The forum resulted in the establishment of AfCFTA focal points (AfCFTA Facilitation Desks) at 13 public and private implementation institutions, namely; Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Free Zones Authority, Ghana International Trade Commission, PEF, RGD Office of Intellectual Property, PPRSD, NDPC, GEPA, GIPC, GSA, FDA, GSA, GEA
