    Trade-Related Infrastructure

    The main objective of this cluster is the development of innovative, legal, financial and other mechanisms for multi-country infrastructural development projects with focus on Transportation (Ports, Roads, Highways, Railways, Aviation), Communication and Energy.

    The availability and adequacy of financing for trade-related infrastructure projects that enhance Ghana’s position in intra-African trade will be a major contributory factor in Ghana’s trade competitiveness.

    The cluster is expected to focus on developing and implementing short, medium and long-terms programmes and activities that aims at mobilizing resources for the preparation of infrastructural projects, develop innovative legal, financial and other mechanisms for a comprehensive infrastructural and industrial project, and creating the enabling environment for private sector participation in the development of infrastructural projects for BIAT.', '

    1. To provide reliable, accessible and competitive energy for businesses trading under AfCFTA by December, 2023.
    2. To establish a world-class inter-modal logistical hub to facilitate in-country and sub-regional interconnectivity with markets across Africa by December, 2023.
    3. To provide necessary market infrastructure (warehouses and export trade houses) to enhance intra- African trade byDecember, 2023.
